Milton & Randolph Awarded MAPC Technical Assistance Program Grant

Each year the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) awards funding to several Massachusetts cities and towns to implement projects that will benefit their community, through the Technical Assistance Program (TAP). This year, both Milton and Randolph were selected as awardees.
These grants will provide both Milton and Randolph with great opportunities to expand community resources and boost engagement. TAP offers a chance to focus on a needed resource in their community to enhance culture and provide residents with added support systems.
Randolph
Project: Community Wellness Project
Amount: $25,000
Description: This wellness project will fund implementation of the multi-year Community Wellness Plan aimed at strengthening public health and health equity.
Milton
Project: Language Access
Amount: $10,000
Description: Grant will fund translation and interpretation services across municipal services as well as the opportunity to hear from practitioners and residents through roundtable discussions to uncover language access best practices for the community.
Randolph
Project: Language Access
Amount: $10,000
Description: Grant will fund translation and interpretation services across municipal services as well as the opportunity to hear from practitioners and residents through roundtable discussions to uncover language access best practices for the community.
