Rep. Driscoll Celebrates Haitian Heritage Month

On Wednesday, May 24th, Representative Driscoll joined his colleagues in celebrating Haitian Heritage Month at the Statehouse in Boston. Haitian Heritage Month is celebrated in May as an extension of Haitian Flag Day which occurs on May 18th and is an opportunity to celebrate the culture and people of Haitian descent.

Senator Liz Miranda and Haitian Americans United (HAU) hosted the Celebration of Haitian Heritage for Massachusetts legislators and community leaders from around Greater Boston and the Commonwealth. This important occasion was meant to honor all achievements of Haitian residents across the Commonwealth and support Toussaint L’Ouverture and Haitian Liberation.
